Fabulous. Sharing this to my notes because this is something everyone can experience. By that I mean, the experience of working through challenges and discovering that there are TEAMS of people who can help you make things happen, who can contribute, who want to contribute. And also: Clearly your work is truly impactful, and you've made a difference in the lives of others by getting it displayed at the gallery. Good for you, and even better for them! I wish I was within striking distance to see it myself.
Finally, for other folks who read this, look at what she's done. I say it's a call to action for other artists who may feel they aren't ready, they aren't good enough, any of that. Folks, don't compare your work to Carrie's before getting out there yourself. Compare to learn, to appreciate, but not for any other reason.
